Messages stuck in outbox on Outlook.??

Problem Emails sometimes get stuck in your outbox in Outlook. Cause A message can get stuck if it includes an attachment that’s too large for some email servers to handle. (For example, your workplace /email providers might limit the size of email messages you can send or receive.) Sometimes Outlook can’t send your messages because your email server is off-line or your mail client (you) are offline. Solution Put Outlook in off-line mode and delete the offending email. To do this go to Click File-> Work Offline. Restart Outlook. Delete the offending E-mail. Problem Outlook shows the message “we didn’t find anything to show here.” when looking in a folder that shows unread items. How to display the location of the current file on the Quick Access Toolbar in Office 2013

Problem There are times, when working on an Office document, that you might forget where you saved the file. If you need to find out where the currently open document is located, you can use Save As to find out. However, there is a quicker way. Solution You can display the location of the currently open Office document on the Quick Access Toolbar. To do this follow these steps: 1. Open any document or a blank document in Word and click the FILE tab. 2. Click Options at the bottom of the options list on the left. 3. Can’t connect to Internet – Error 651

Problem On Windows 7, you are unable to connect to the Internet and see the following message: “Error 651: The Modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error.” Solution Try the following: Reset TCP/IP Settings. If using a Laptop, make sure the wireless switch or button is turned on. Replace the RAS PPPoE driver: Open a Command Prompt as Administrator. Select all the code below, then right click it and click Copy: TAKEOWN /F "C:\Windows\system32\drivers\raspppoe.sys" ICACLS "C:\Windows\system32\drivers\raspppoe.sys" /grant administrators:F Right click in the Command Prompt window and click Paste. Press Enter. Once it has finished, close the Command Prompt. Go to the following folder: C:\Windows\system32\drivers Rename the raspppoe.sys file to raspppoe2.sys Right click on the following file and click Save Target As / Save link as: Vista RAS PPPoE Driver. Save it in the C:\Windows\system32\drivers folder. Restart the computer.

Laptop not picking up any wireless networks

Problem The laptop can’t connect to wireless networks and does not display any other networks. Cause The wireless network card has not been enabled. Solution Toshiba Laptop Hold the FN key down (which is located in the bottom left of the keyboard) and press F8. Hi-Grade Hold the FN key down and press F11 or F10. Problem You try to access the Internet and you get the error message “Windows has detected an IP address conflict”. Cause An IP address conflict occurs when two computers on a LAN (Local Area Network) or the Internet have been assigned the same IP address. IP conflicts usually occur if static IP addresses have been set up incorrectly. Two computers normally render each other and this makes them unusable on the network. Solution Click Start. Type cmd in the search box, right click the cmd that appears and click ‘Run as administrator’. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter. Type exit and press Enter.
