Solution:

If you are getting this error in office 2007 or 2010 then the solution could be simple then it it in office 2013.

1. Open excel 2007/2010.

2. Click on File Menu - > Options - Advance.

3. Under General Category you will find the option.

"Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)”

4. Uncheck this option and close excel program.

5. Open excel and see if this will work otherwise you can also use other method described in other post on TechhStuff.
