  1. HELP PLEASE !!! My problem is the same as the poster. I followed your solution steps above, but when I selected "Protected Mode" in the Trust Center Settings, none of the links provided would open. My cursor sits there and nothing happens. No wonder I can't open email attachments. Also, I am running Windows 8.1, does that have anything to do with this problem? This is only one of many, many problems I have had with Office 2013, I dread getting on the computer and am tired of crying at the keyboard. (Thanks for letting me vent).

  3. Just to clarify, after using Laplink to transfer my programs and files from my Windows 7 laptop to my Windows 8.1 laptop, I had issues with Google Chrome, and Office 365. I uninstalled and re-installed Google Chrome and that appears to be working fine now. I followed instructions (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/repair-office-programs-HA010357402.aspx) to repair 365. I first ran the quick repair, which failed, then I ran the extended repair, which appears to have worked. Still trying to figure out issues with my internet connection though. Used to be connected automatically when I logged onto the machine. Now I have to enter my security key every time I have to reconnect.

  4. Mine still does not open. It tells me that it cannot find the file. Please make sure the file hasn't been moved, deleted, etc.

  5. If you've already done this and experience the problem again later on go back in check all the boxes and uncheck them again. I've had to do this once and it seemed to fix the problem.
