Issue: How to Recover Deleted Mails in Outlook 2013 Solution:  If you are using exchange account in outlook 2013 and have deleted the emails accidentally from your Inbox but you want them back into the Inbox. There is one inbuilt option on outlook 2013 that you can use to recover the emails. Please follow the steps below to remover the emails. 1. Click on folder tab from top of the outlook bar. 2. Look for recover deleted option under folder tab. 3. Select the emails from the dialog box you can select multiple by holding CTRL key. 4. Click on Restore button to recover the emails. Issue: Outlook 2013 shows metered connection warning and goes offline mode. Solution: Snapshot 1: Snapshot 2: Follow the below steps to fix the issue: 1. Open Control panel. 2. Look for pc settings.(Windows + C) 3. Open Network Settings page.    4. Turn off Meter Connection for wifi network. 5. close outlook and open it again and see the result. Issue: How to Disable OneDrive Sync Settings in windows 8.1‏ Solution: Windows 8 or above have Microsoft OneDrive integrated into the Operating System. So OneDrive always keeps on synchronizing data which consumes a considerable amount of bandwidth. You may turn it off by following the steps below: Go to Charms bar –> Settings (Windows Key + i) –> Change PC Settings Select OneDrive from the left side menu and then select Metered Connections from the left side menu On the right hand pane, under Sync settings, turn both settings to off. Turn off device updates Turning off device updates will prevent Windows from downloading information for new device drivers and updating the drivers on a metered connection. Go to Charms bar –> Settings (Windows Key + i) –> Change PC Settings Select PC and Devices from the left side menu Select Devices and make sure Download over metered connections is set to off.

Problem: Change the default address list of the Outlook Address Book. Solution: When you use Outlook without an Exchange Account, the default address list when bringing up the Address Book and when pressing the To, Cc or Bcc buttons is your Contacts folder. When you use and Exchange Account, the default is the Global Address List. You can change the default via the following steps; Open the Address Book by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+B or via; §    Outlook 2007 and previous  Tools-> Address Book… §    Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 Use the Address Book icon on the right side of the Home tab in the Ribbon. In the Address Book dialog choose Tools-> Options… Use the dropdown list for “Show this address list first” to your preferred address list.  In Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013, this option is called “When opening the address book, show this address list first”. Press OK. Close the Address Book dialog.
